Can you confirm that Cookie Notice works with the default configuration of WordPress 4.8.2 with the Twenty Seventeen theme ? No CSS or other customisation has taken place (other than using the menus to add a background logo, menus etc.)

Cookie notices are not working. To ensure no interference with cookie history, I use a Chrome Incognito instance hoping the cookie notice at least appears. I’ve also tested on Safari and it doesn’t work there either.

Can you confirm Cookie Notice has been tested and works with WordPress 4.8.2 with the Twenty Seventeen theme ?

It’s definintelly compatible with WordPress 4.8.x and default themes.

Most probably there is a different plugin generating javascript issue, and it results in broken Cookie Notice (and possibly other javascript related stuff too).

Please use your browser debugger to find out.

I have disabled all other plugins and it still doesn’t work.

I’m using WordPress and plugins so I don’t have to delve into code (the last programming I ever did was in Turbo Pascal!). To me, that’s the main point of using WordPress, the templates and plugins that come with it.

I don’t have the skills to go debugging, so I guess I’m stuck.
