I must be doing something wrong but don’t know what it is. I have images in the library that I want to watermark. In settings I have enabled both automatic and manual but when I select an image and apply the watermark it does not appear in the preview. Am I missing something?

– turn on “Automatic watermarking” for uploading new images or “Manual watermarking” for images already in Media Library,
– set watermark image
– set image sizes on which watermark should appear.Did you refresh page with your images after watermarking? Sometimes WP shows old (cached) images. Try to force-refresh (CTRL+F5) site or download images (sizes selected in settings) and check them for your own.
If you still have problems please respond.
30 May 2013 at 06:34 #262JessiGuestI am having the same problem. I selected automatic & manual watermarking, selected a PNG image for the watermark, and set the image sizes on which watermark should appear.
I tried bulk watermarking the images; it ran without errors, but the images don’t display a watermark! I tried uploading a new image; no dice on that either. I’m a little stumped. It seems like a fantastic, simple plugin, but it’s just not working as expected.

We looked at your site, tested the watermark you’re trying to apply and… it works on our sites, it doesn’t work on yours, so the problem is not with the image you use.
Next, you’re using a complex theme (WP Pro Real Estate) and a couple of plugins. We’d have to check the possible conflicts by disabling plugins one by one, and/or changing a theme (just for tests) but we didn’t want to do it on a your site without doing a backup first.
Our suggestions:
– backup your site (DB and all the files)
– try to disable plugin one by one and check if Image Watermark starts working
– if disabling plugins will not make any difference, change a theme and test the watermark again
– whether it works or not, provide the info here and give us an ftp access to your site, so we could enable debug mode and look for possible errors10 June 2013 at 22:44 #287Jessi KinganParticipantOkay, maybe that was a bad example. How about a less complicated site?

But I cannot get the watermark to work either and it is a pretty basic site.
Does the watermark image have to be any particular size? and I have used jpg as it says this is ok.
