Is there a way to make the bars more transparent or even smaller? They cover quite a bit of the photo i want to show.

You may try to modify it via custom CSS in your theme.

But can you tell me if the height of bottom and top bars are defined in one of the files which correspond to your plugin? IT would be simply easier if I changed it by say 10 pixels down.

Yes, of course. Those bars are created in our lightbox plugin and can be modified using CSS.

Thanks. :) I actually figured it out already myself. Needs some playing around.

Just was wondering on an unrelated story. Is it possible to get the bars to unhide on mouse movement or not?

Dmitri, if there was on option in the plugin settings, it would be possible. It’s not at the moment, but it may be added in the future.

    Hi,

Liking some of the options with this, but a couple of issues.
    1. With prettyPhoto option the image opens up really small in phone/tablet sized screen, and I mean thumbnail sized small and on desktop it doesn’t fit the available window or it’s bigger than the available window if you select ‘expand’ option.

    2. With SwipeBox, the disable top & bottom bars doesn’t seem to work. I sped up the ‘hide/show’ function so that those get out of the way pretty fast.

Wondering if there’s any way to get the prettyPhoto option to to have the images fit to screen regardless of screen size? SwipeBox is ok, just doesn’t have all the functionality that prettyPhoto does.

Thanks for the work on this nice plugin btw.

Thanks for the info about top & bottom bars – we’ll take a look.

When it comes to general notices – you’re right in description of the scripts. One is powerful, but not that elegant, the other is beautiful but doesn’t give you much control.

Well, that’s why we included both, to give user the choice according to their preferences. But we’re watching – if any new responsive and interesting solution shows up, we’ll include it in Responsive Lightbox.

I found that Shutter and Shutter 2 (or reloaded) are both responsive.
Using Shutter Reloaded for the time being.

Shadowbox, Pirobox, NyroModal, Highslide & YUI all looked promising, but don’t come as a plugin, didn’t have time (or patience) to do the integration into WP myself.

Thanks again for the good work.

Hi, How can I remove the top bar and add the text caption to bottom bar?
is there any possibility having the bottom bar fix and the image on top of the bar, ( bar comes under image in fixed position, caption text added to bar),

Please help me codes, I dont know coding,
    Thanks.

@m C, there are no such options in the plugin. CSS and some JS coding would be required here.

Hi, could you please navigate me, where can i find code for those bars as i want too make them at least smaller too? is it somewhere in this file? responsive-lightbox/css/wp-like-ui-theme.css it says (inactive) and changing some values did not do anything.. I really like swipebox, but it really cuts too much of the image..

and one more question: in firefox i can hide / show bars by just clicking on the screen. this works in my smartphone too. But not in internet explorer 10. do i do anything wrong?
