When Polylang is set to recognize the language from a subdomain, the Events Maker’s Calendar Widget and Breadcrumbs still addresses to the /LANG/
subdirectory which does not exist (where LANG
is the language slug).
Everything was translated, slugs were tested both translated as strings and not translated at all.
Also, when Polylang’s language subdomains are set, Events Manager do break the Polylang’s rewrite rules and, consequently, breaks the Language Switcher’s links to other languages creating links to inexistent pages (linking to an inexistent subdirectory //example.dev/LANG/x/y/
instead of the subdomain //LANG.example.dev/x/y/
).
I’ve spent all the day (it was a special Events plugins testing day) trying to dope out the sequence to apply different settings for both plugins, removing the database and doing everything from the scratch each time, but independently what I’m doing it works only partially.
The conclusion is sad news.
The great plugin Events Maker is only partially compatible with the great plugin Polylang in the current case of 1.6.14 and 2.1.1 respectively (March 2, 2017).
