I have pages with multiple images but they only show one at a time with no navigation arrows on the lightbox. The “Single images as gallery” setting has no effect.
Using version 1.4.8 with wordpress 4.0

    is this a known issue?

    thanks

    Hello,
I have been doing some more testing and it works with Chrome and Opera.
However with Firefox the top and bottom bars are visible but the images
    do not show at all.
(It is the same with the android version of Firefox, no images show,
    just the bars.)
With InternetExplorer, if you click the page to hide the top and bottom
bars they will not come back so you are stuck.
I am using the swipebox effect.
All the browsers are up to date.
Here is a link to the site, it is under development:

    thank very much,

    That’s what I see:

    Error: TypeError: match is null

    Line: 347

It points to a JavaScript error on your site.

Ok, I see that in firebug now. So does that mean it is something to do with the Theme I am using?

Theme or any of the plugins. But this seems to be used in the theme file, not a separate .js file.

Ok, I don’t know how to fix this then and I don’t want to abandon this Theme so I guess I am out of luck…

    thank you for your help

I found there was an update to the theme (raindrops) and after updating the Error: TypeError: match is null is no longer there. However the plugin still does not work with firefox, no images are shown just the top and bottom bars.

    thanks

Sorry my mistake, it is working in Firefox.
So down to Internet Explorer now: when I click outside the image to show/hide the top and bottom bar they hide but will not come back…..

    thanks for your patience

Interesting. I made sure cache was cleared with IE, rebooted, but in IE ( version 11 on win7) when I click to make the bars hide they will not come back for me..
I will find someone else to test for me now..

    thanks for your time

The lightbox (swipebox) is not working in IE. I have results from testing from multiple people and I have recreated the page with a different theme on a different wordpress instance.
    The results are:
    For http://wrgwptest2014.whiterockgallery.com/nicholas-bott/
    – works with IE 8, 9
    – does not work with 10, 11
issue: does not respond to click on screen so after 5 seconds when top and bottom bars are hidden can not get
    them back.

    For http://davoct2014-a.whiterockgallery.com/nicholas-bott/
    – does not work with IE.
issue: first image is displayed, subsequent images have correct name in top bar but no image is displayed.
after 5 second delay when top and bottom bars hide they will not come back..

    thank you

I can confirm that there’s something wrong with the bottom bars hiding in IE 11 on your site (you have to use ESC key or navigate by keyboard arrows). However all images are loaded and displayed correctly.

Yes, it does not seem consistent in IE, sometimes the images show , sometimes not.
However the bars never work, and unfortunately if I can’t get this plugin to work with IE I will have to abandon it, which is a shame because I think it is a great lightbox.

    thanks

Just choose a different lightbox script – for example Nivo Lightbox.
