    Hi there!

    First of all: I really like your Event-plugin!

    I want to use it in the following way:

    Showing gigs on a public venue page for visitors and showing the same gigs with additional information on a volunteers page.

    This I presume can be done by giving them different categories, but how to exclude them in the opposite view ?

    And how can display each category in separate views / pages in a full page calendar ?

    Hi Adam,

    Glad you like our EM :)

    Answering to your question:

    Giving them different categories is ok – it would save you some query modifications as when user enters a category page, only events belonging to that category will be displayed.

    The full calendar display is also customizable, but in a more complex way.

    Basically there’s a shortcode for this: [em-full-calendar] but unfortunatelly it does not allow you to exclude / include categories, yet. It does have multiple options but not for categories – I just added this to EM todo list.

    For now you can use the em_get_events filter to modify the events query in calendar on selected pages using wordpress conditional tags.

    Hi Bartosz!

    Ok, the [em-full-calendar] I knew of, but how do I combine that with the em_get_events filter ?

    my args would be something like this:

    $args = array(
    	'post_type' => 'event',
    	'suppress_filters' => FALSE,
            'category_name' => 'my-category-slug',
            'posts_per_page' => -1
