    I want to block Google Analytics using the plugin, so I pasted the GA code in the script. However, once I save the page, the GA code is updated: the external script url from google is changed into an A tag causing the GA script not to work and the GA script url to be displayed as a link on my page.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    It should work fine.
    What might be the case is that some plugins (especially security related plugins) try to force some additional security checks that might influence options validation (like saving you GA code)
    Do you use any of these?
