    I see that this has been a question without an answer so I need to ask it again just in case there is a response and you can help me resolve this issue. I added a watermark and it ended up in the wrong place meaning that the watermark didn’t go where I had specified and now it seems to be stuck there. Remove watermark gives me a checkmark as though something has happened but nothing changes. I would appreciate a reply and some help with this as I have hundreds of images that are not usable now

    Hello, I am not sure whether I understand well, but I think you can use a third-party tool to remove your wrong-added watermark and then stamp the watermark on the place you like. Here I recommend Easepaint Watermark Expert, it supports add or remove watermark from photos, maybe you can have a try.
