Progressive versus Baseline

I noticed that after applying the water mark (in my case a .png file) my images loaded more like a baseline jpeg and not like a progressive jpeg.

I have decided that your plugin should only copyright watermark the large and full size images per media upload on my site. Those images are the few I need to render progressively not baseline because of their size. Do, and will you, offer support for rendering the final image in progressive jpeg?
