Hi – Searched for this – found questions – but zero answers. I’m hoping that maybe this one will get answered? PostViews Counter was showing an average of 1,000 views per day – right up to the moment I moved to Cloudflare. Now it’s maybe 100 per day. I’ve tried all four settings: PHP, JS, Fast AJAX And TEST. It doesn’t make any difference. Also tried various numbers for Count Interval and Flush Object Cache – no difference.

Surely you all have tried this with something as widely used as Cloudflare? What are the correct settings? Getting accurate counts was nice – but speed is more important. But why not give us the best of both worlds? Accurate counts AND speed?

    thanks in advance,
    chris

    Good day

It seems as we have the same issue.

We use Hummingbird for the Server cache and Cloudflare as CDN.

I changed from php to javascript and now REST-API. but seems as it’s only working on an overview page, but not the single post.

    Regards,

    Simon

My experience: Post Views Counter plugin doesn’t work with object cache.

To make the plugin work properly, you need to disable object caching.
