    Hi,

    I have PNG format images in my WordPress library, and these images have some transparent areas. As soon as I apply the watermark, the transparent areas get coloured black.

    Any advice?

    i have had this issue with many programs and it is somehow related to PNG. i notice when i switch to jpg, the problem clears up. not sure what it is.

    Are you using a 8 bit or 24 bit PNG? Can you try the other and check it again?

    Same question to you a are you using a 8 bit or 24 bit PNG? What are your settings while exporting to PNG?
