I read a notice at https://wordpress.org/plugins/cookie-notice/ saying that this plugin was closed on November 29, 2018 and is no longer available for download.

Please explain why you have stopped developing (and supporting?) this plugin. I do not read anything on your website about this sudden decision. I am very happy with it and I will continue to use it.

Please consider continuing Cookie Notice for WordPress.

Thank you for your voice,
But we’re not discontinueing the plugin.

We were surprised to see the plugin is being removed by WordPress team not because of any issue, but because they didn’t like 3 words in plugin descriptions – 100% GDPR compliant.

This is crazy, but that’s the fact.

We’ve already published an update and hope it will make the plugin available back soon.
