    Hello,

    I have installed responsive lightbox plugin with PhotoSwipe addon and activate everything as in manual but I’m not able to make it work, before I was using SwipeBox and it was working like a charm for a couple of months, now, after activate PhotoSwipe, is not working any more. If I go back to SwipeBox it works again, but with PhotoSwipe doesn’t work any more.

    I’m using Folder Gallery plugin.

    Hi,

    Here is a fix for that. I used it and it worked

    BUT, there is one big issue with the SwipeBox in my opinion. Because it instantly preloads all of the images which are inside your gallery. That is not very convenient as it produces a massive traffic every time your galleries are visited.
    Other lightboxes are loading the images on demand.

    I asked for a fix but I got no reply so far from dfactory. Disappointing.

    Hi Benjamin,
    The preloading issue with PhotoSwipe is addressed in a RL 1.7 beta available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n6402q869isvtpc/responsive-lightbox.zip?dl=1
    Please try that version – it’s using transients to store the image url / id relation required by PhotoSwipe and should drastically limit number of db requests.

    Thank you very much Benjamin! I used and now is working!! but as you said now the gallery is really slow and on my mobile device doesn’t work fine. It shows a gray square and then the image is out of proportion. I disable “Enable loading image preloader” but still.

    I downloaded RL 1.7 beta available on Dropbox but still is really slow.

    Any idea how to fix that?

    and is not working when I turn to landscape mode, doesn’t fit with my screen

    i’m using iphone6

    @Bartosz:
    No, it installed R1.7 successfully but still the same problem.
    when using the browsers developer tool you can clearly see that all images are preloaded while the gallery page with thumbnails is loading. Tracing it back from where the download request comes leads me to the PhotoSwipe plugin. As I said before, the image is downloaded to get its dimension which is then stored in an array or something.
    So I guess we need a new PhotoSwipe release.

    Let me know if you need more information.

    I just need SwipeBox plus zoom, share buttons and download link.

    -The images are not preloaded
    -Work properly when turn to landscape mode on my mobile device.

    any help?

    Bruno, can you share your temporary admin credentials and FTP access to the site?

    We’d like to see how it looks like in the code.

    Hey,
    Two more things:
    1. Please give us an admin user role on the site – we can’t do anything without it.
    2. Please double check or generate a new FTP password – the one you posted does not seem to work.

    I think it work better than before, but still SwipeBox works better, still slow showing images.

    And doesn’t work properly when turn to landscape mode on my mobile device.

    any advice?
