Hello, I am wondering where I could edit the plugin script to make the hyperlink open a PDF in a new tab? Thanks ahead of time for your help.

You should be able to do this using just your browser. Am I wrong?

Hi. This question too is interesting to me. How to change a plug-in? I want that it didn’t load documents, and opened them in a new window of the browser.

Guys, this plugin is for file downloads. But you can achieve that disabling default click bahavour with a bit of JS. Try google and use something like that: https://forum.jquery.com/topic/open-link-in-new-tab-with-click

In settings of a plug-in it is possible to add possibility of a choice: “to load the document” or “to open the document in a new tab”. It will increase functionality of a plug-in. Many want to look at first at the file, and then to download it.

    Hi there
That would be possible for you to do that with the help of a pdf document tool.
You can just search that kind of tool in google.

Great plugin and works great. The behavior of the “clicked” file going directly to download is not an issue with my browser. Typical behavior with PDFs in my browser open in a new tab first, I then have the option to download, print and etc.

I will delete for now until further enhancements. Thank you.
