    Hey guys

    i’ve been trying to get this plugin working on my site which is using the 907 parallax theme and bunch of plugins.

    no matter what i do the link to a youtube video goes straight to the youtube instead of opening the lightbox.

    I have nextgen gallery installed as well but disabling it didn’t help.

    wp_head and wp_footer are called also..

    any ideas?

    I am encountering the same problem on my end. jQuery is up to date & running the latest version of the plugin. My link structure is the following: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmFmYLAveWM" rel="lightbox"><img src="#"></a>.

    When clicking the link, I am immediately directed to a new tab for the YouTube page of the video. When I return to my original tab, the lightbox is open and the video is present, but I need to avoid that initial jump to a new tab/YouTube. Any ideas?

    @Kuldar, @Andrew we need a link to your site.

    There might be multiple reasons for that but we’re pretty comfortable that RL has nothing to do with it. Why? Because it does not generate links. It just follows the link and applies lightbox effect.


    @Andrew    , your link syntax looks fine, but where is comes from? If you post video link in the backend content editor then all you need is this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmFmYLAveWM

    Both: WordPress and Responsive Lightbox should handle that automatically – generate a link and open that link using lightbox effect.
