    Hello,

I am using an interface to add new posts (to a custom post type) which is done via a plugin.
While creating new posts, I would like to add the watermark to the images that are attached [wp_insert_attachment] (and I checked to custom post type in the settings and it is working correctly if I manually add the watermarks in the media gallery).

I suppose with manually adding posts I am not calling a certain function that the watermark plugin triggers while creating new posts in the backend?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Sissi

It doesn’t matter if you upload images through backend or frontend of the site.

If the plugin / theme that handles the upload process is using WordPress native upload functions, Image Watermark should be appliued without any further setup or modifications.

Please ask the plugin developer for some details on this.

I am using native WP functions to upload and attach the images to the post_type, but the watermark is not added. Though it works when setting it manually in the media library.

Can you post a link to your site and the page where you upload attachments?
