News page will not show widgets

    The news page does not show any of the widgets in the news page. It will show the widgets in other pages I’ve created in the sidebar. When I look at the html in the body / class it actually states no-sidebars for the news page. I’m lost on this being new working in wordpress but is there a place, or something I can do / change to allow both the news and the widgets to appear in the news page?

    Bill, news created by News Manager plugin is a custom post type. That means that the tamplate tags used for display are: archive.php, single.php and taxonomy.php or category.php (depending on your settings).

    Do you use any widget management plugin that limits widget display to certain pages (for example a plugin like our Restrict Widgets)?

    Additionally, could you post a link to your site?

    No I’m not using any type of restriction. I have a site posted without your plugin. I’m playing around with it locally trying to make it work before I use it. It’s at http://www.pathwaycapitalparters.com. Grateful for any hints. Thanks

    I got to work. We are using custom sidebars and it was creating the problem. Thanks
