    Hello!

    Great plugin! I love it.

I am building the site xsnowboard.com

On the front page is a blog roll of sample posts I am running. The thumb nails are tim thumbs.

    Here is the watermark
    http://xsnowboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/playbutton2.png

If you look at the 4 posts, the sizing of each watermark is different. This appears to be because each featured image are different sizes. I am utilizing another plugin to grab a featured image automatically from the video. This plugin generated a featured image automatically and my theme created

Currently the watermark is set for scaled 25%. I have experimented with Original and Custom, but I am getting similar results. Shy of me making each featured image the same size, how can I make each watermark the same size in the tim thumb preview on the front page blog roll?

Also, which image is your program using for the tim thumb watermark? Full Large, Medium, or Thumb?

    Thank you!
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Did you use automatic watermarking? If you did I think it is the main reason when you use it with different plugin. Probably our pluign is making watermarked images before your plugin.

    Please try this:
    1. Make your images with other plugin.
    2. Apply watermark to those images using manual method (bulk action).

    Hello
I appreciate the prompt reply. The plugin is set to manual. The other plugin generates the image and adds it to the media section. I then bulk add the watermark manually.

I cannot use it automatically as I do not want other image I upload to get watermarked.

    Your thoughts?

    thanks!

Jason, can you try use custom fixed size of the watermark instead of scaled?

I was thinking about it for a while and I think it won’t work with TimThumb no matter what settings you use.

TimThumb generates images (thumbnails) dynamically, which means it scales(resizes) the images while you preview them to the given size, no matter what is the actual size of an image. So even if you make a watermark identical for different images it will scale with TimThumb giving you a different watermark size.

That is the problem I was having.
Still works in general. I can live with it.
    thanks!
