Automatic works perfectly and so do the protect features. However, when I go into watermark an individual image, I’m not givin an option to add watermark. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place but I have gone to media gallery…..tried to edit the image, uploaded my own image and looked for the manual watermark option, but can’t find it anywhere.

A bit of guidance as we will be uploading pictures which are not always going to be “our” images which need watermarked.

Thank you for the wonderful plugin !

    The steps are as follow:

    1. Enable manual watermarking in plugin settings page (and save the settings)
    2. Go to Media Library
    3. Under Bulk Actions dropdown new “Apply Watermark” option will be available
    4. Select the image or images you want to apply watermark to (checkboxes on the left on the image titles).
    5. Select “Apply Watermark” under Bulk Actions
    6. Click Apply button
    7. Selected images will be processed and after that a message should appear saying how many images were watermarked

A tip: in many cases, if you have set up applying watermark to thumbnail image size, you won’t notice the watermark applied to it in Media Gallery right away. It’s caused by image caching in WordPress. But if you refresh the page using CTRL (CMD) + F5 the changes in image thumbnails should become visible.
