I would like to limit the size of the image that open when I click on it in RL. Is there a setting to limit the size?

Yes,
If you insert a single image into post you have an option to select image size in the Add Media popup window.
For gallery images there’s an option in Responsive Lightbox plugin settings – Gallery image size – by default it’s set to full size.
