I was hoping to be able to attach some screenshots to explain my issue but I will have to try and do so without.

The problem: I want to set up a post with a gallery of four images displaying in two columns so they will look like a gallery of four images 2 x 2. I select 2 columns for the gallery however in the post the four images display in one row.

Please can you advise what settings I should be applying in order to achieve the desired effect?

Same for me when using Masonry Pro. Also i can’t find out how to show the caption underneath the Pics.
