Events Maker integrates abolutely seamlessly with Polylang, right out of the box. I can create events, categories, organizers and everything in the dashboard, add Polylang translations for everything and all works flawlessly in the front end. Switching the display language of the website in the front end will display the correct translation of the current content, no matter what, and even all permalinks are properly adjusted. Hats off to the developers of Events Maker and Polylang for that magical experience!
While the content automatically shows up in the selected language, the template does not. So “Category: Media conference” is displayed just like that in English but will show up as “Category: Pressekonferenz” in German, not as “Kategorie: Pressekonferenz”. I noticed that there are no de-DE .mo/.po files in wp-content/plugins/events-maker/languages. Is that the reason? If so, I guess I could easily translate the language files into German and offer them here as a contribution to this wonderful piece of software. Which tool would you recommend for that?
