I have “SwipeBox for Responsive Lightbox” selected.
I am trying to get the first image to loop around to the last image, OR if you are going in the other direction to loop from the last image to the first image.
Is there an option that can be added to “responsive lightbox” that allows for “gallery looping” or a shortcode that can be inserted? loop=on/off ???
This way it can be customized through-out the site?

OR if there is some code that I could use, pointers would be appreciated!

That feature is not supported at the moment. You could try modiyfying the plugin JS scripts to achieve that.
