With the force download setting, some files are corrupted. Symtpom is not not consequent, some larger PDF files will not work. Msg “there was an error opening this document. The file could be damaged and could not be repaired.”
We’ve tested this on several PCs at work. Results is the same. But the files themselves are neither corrupt on the server or locally.
To avoid the problem I tried to use redirect to file. But this function reloads the same tab and does not permit opening of a new tab. See This ticket
