Hi there. Love your plugin and using it now. I’ve hacked in support for the PrettyPhoto option “allow_expand” so that I can disable the ability to expand an image to full size. However, this is sloppy and whenever you release an update I have to re-hack it. Any shot you could include this in future versions? Thanks!!!

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. We’ll add that in the future release.

Awesome!! One more request. In order to get PrettyPhoto to look right on mobile devices, I’ve also had to substitute the included jquery.prettyPhoto.js file for a custom one with my changes. How about allowing for a custom path to the JS file for PrettyPhoto or all lightboxes, or is there a way I can do that now that won’t get broken with an update? Thanks again!

Try using the piece of CSS included in this post:

It should make prettyphoto look better on mobile devices.

Thanks for the reply. I gave that CSS a try but found I just couldn’t get rid of the excessive padding between the popup and the edge of the screen without getting the uncompressed jquery.prettyPhoto.js and changing the ‘200’ in line 581 to ’50’. The 200 works fine on a 1680×1050 display but on my mobile it resulted in a tiny popup.
