Does not display views in posts front office

Hi, this is Luca. For about a year I’ve been using your Post view counter plugin instead of StatCounter one which I used before. No troubles in general, except for the fact that I tried to show the number of views in posts front office (using the “Display” tab of the plugin), but there’s no way to have it shown in posts neither if a I choose “before”, nor if I opt for “after” contents choice. Am I mistaking somewhere/something? Thanks for your kind reply. Luca (P.S. WordPress version: 4.9.4 – Italian. Plugin version 1.2.11)
