    Hi Guys,
Where can I find the documentation so I can get started with this plugin?

We didn’t prepare any documentation yet, but you should be able to setup the plugin right from the WP admin (in most cases it would simply run after activation).

    Janet,

It’s a Responsive Lightbox plugin topic. Please go throught the support forum for Image Watermark – I hope you’ll find your answer. If not, post a topic precisely describing the problem.

I have to agree with the earlier comment….no documentation??? It’s easy to install and activate the plugin but then how do you go about using it? How do you install it on a page, specify a gallery, etc.???

It’s mostly automated but it’s also possible to apply lightbox effect manually using default rel=”lightbox” attribute for single images or rel=”lightbox[gallery-1]” for galleries.

We’re just focusing on new plugins at the moment, but the already published ones willl also be updated (including documentation) soon.

Thanks for the reply. There’s obviously something, probably simple, that I’m overlooking then. This does not seem to be working on my WP site, because my existing galleries display as they did and not as a lightbox. Perhaps the custom theme I installed has gallery settings that are overriding it? I’ll play around with the rel attribute settings as suggested to see if that works, if not I may have to try another solution. This did not work as I had hoped.

Bob, if you apply rel=”lightbox” manually it should work no matter what settings you have. But there might be some other issues though – JS errors, plugin conflicts, theme conflicts.

We always try to minimize the occurence of that kind of problems by developing according to the WordPress best coding practices. But not every theme or plugin author follows the same path. To be true, that was one of the reasons we started writing our own plugins.

Thank you. The theme that I”m using is also automated and using some kind of script to place the gallery on a page, but I cannot access the code and edit any attributes. The theme creates a lightbox but this only displays the image I designate as the primary image and not all pictures within the gallery, which is useless for my needs. I was hoping to somehow use your plugin within this theme but it does not seem to be working, or I simply just don’t know how to go about it. That’s why I was hoping for documentation.

Do you know if this is something you can look at or assist with offline to see if your plugin will work with my theme or if I need to give up on my idea of using a lightbox and just go with a standard gallery page as it is set to now?

If you provide a private reply (Set as private reply option at the bottom) with a temporary admin access to your site, we’ll take a quick look.

Thank you kindly. I do not see a setting for private reply anywhere, though.

It’s just below the Tags, in the reply form – “Set as private reply”

Wow, that’s odd…I checked on Firefox and also IE and it’s not there. Just the black “submit” button shows in the right corner. It’s just blank below the HTML Tag and Attributes box in both of my browsers.

It’s under the reply text area and above the submit button, on the left.

Wow! You’re right. Give me some time to figure out why it’s not available for logged out users.

Sorry Bob, I forgot that you must be a registered user to use this option.

Doesn’t work, no docs, no instructions. Uninstalling and going elsewhere.

Bartosz – I’m logged in but I cannot see any private replies for some reason. Was that for me?

Bob, create a new topic under any title, and try to post a reply with Set as private reply option enabled.

(I tested it as another user and the option is there. Don’t know what’s going on :)

I have the option to set a reply as a private response (unlike yesterday before I created an account).

I was referring to your response (post #475) which is marked as private and immediately followed my private response to you. I wasn’t sure if that reply from you was directed to me. If so, I cannot see it, it’s simply marked as a private response.

Please let me know if you’ve had a chance to look over my site and if your plugin will work with the theme I am using. Thanks.

Yes, I tried to login to your site, but the combination of username / password you provided seemed to be wrong. Please post a new topic, then post a reply to it using Set as private reply option, with a new (correct) set of username and password.

Much talking but I hope we’ll get to it :)
