    I’m adding the descriptions associated with my wordpress images to prettyPhoto lightbox using the html title tag by overriding the gallery_shortcode function.

    I’d like to modify the CSS for prettyPhoto so that the description below the image is aligned left and not bold. Where should I add that CSS, in my style.css for my child theme?

    Any of those CSS files should be fine.

    All you have to do is to use nesting or !important attrtibute to override default prettyPhoto styling.
