This plugin has been working fine for me but I noticed today that if users choose to block cookies, the cookie is set but is not persistent. IE if the page is reloaded/or a user navigates to another page the cookie notice is displayed again.

It is fine if users accept.

Any idea how to debug this? I’m not using any cache plugins.

Looking at this more, it seems that the cookie is undefined on page reload.

cookie_notice_accepted == false on click but this is not persistent
