    Hello

    I have built a WordPress site, some of which is build using Visual Composer. Visual Composer has a lightbox function but I don’t like it so I downloaded Responsive Lightbox. I have as yet been unable to Responsive Lightbox to appear on my site. Is it compatible with Visual Composer? And if so how do I get it to override the automatic lightbox already there?

    It should be compatible. If you use Visual Composer to insert images into post content, it should work out of the box. But if you use other VC functionalites it may require some adjustments to the VC HTML output.

    Can you share a link to a page you’re trying to use the two?

    Hi there

    Thanks for your response. It is when I have added images in a grid that it doesn’t seem to ‘see’ them.

    This is a page it is working on http://www.paulamorison.com/contact/ (apologies for the face there is another lightbox on there too – I was checking to see if this same thing happened on other plug ins – it does).

    And here is a page that it is not working on http://www.paulamorison.com/project-001/

    The different between these is that on the page that is not working the images have been added using a ‘media grid’

    Any advice would be much appreciated as the standard lightbox that comes with Visual Composer doesn’t work very well!

    It would work in the second example too if there was a slightly different HTML markup.
    Each links has data-rel=”prettyPhoto[rel–615250221]” atribute. If you are able to control that via VC settings or via filter hook and set it to data-rel=”lightbox” or any other selectr you have set in RL settings than it would work.

    So please check VC settings or field (grid) parameters as it may have a controller for this.
    Or look into the VC code or ask the developers if the grid data-rel parameter is controllable via filter hook.
