Hello,
Unfortunately i am not able to get it working on the registration page.http://custom-codez.com/community/register/
It works nice on the ‘wp-admin’ loginpage and also on the ‘Lost password’ page. However the main reason for installing it was to prevent bots from registration.
What should i do to make it work?
I am using BuddyPress+bbpress
1 September 2013 at 21:58 #653zombieboy79ParticipantIt’s not showing on my BBPress Registration page either:

I’m pretty sure I have the settings configured correctly, so not sure how to get the captcha to display. Is there a short code I have to include?
1 September 2013 at 22:44 #654BartoszKeymasterI checked pages both of you and there is one thing in common. You are using custom registration pages. It will not work automatically in that case. It would require you to manually add Math Captcha code into the registration forms and make some changes in Math Captcha plugin.
We have in our plans to make it easier (or possible at all) to use MC in custom forms, but it’s hard to say when it will be ready.

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding BBpress, but isn’t the only way for someone to register, is to make a custom “page” with the registration shortcode? I’m not aware of any default BBpress registration setup where the Math Captcha would display. My apologies if this sounds noobish…
3 September 2013 at 20:11 #658BartoszKeymasterOf course it is not the only way (more, it is not the standard way).
A bbPress user registration is nothing more than a WordPress user registration and regular WordPress registration is done through the wp-login screen.
8 November 2013 at 02:43 #1301J AParticipantHello, just installed Math Captcha on my site and am having the same problem – it’s not showing up on my registration form. I don’t think I’m using a custom form, just whatever cones with WP when you check the box to enable registration.
I really think this will be a fabulous tool for preventing spam registrations if I can get it to work. Can someone help my figure out why it doesn’t?
Thanks!
8 November 2013 at 09:30 #1302BartoszKeymasterJA, this is definitely a custom registration page.
8 November 2013 at 13:22 #1304J AParticipantHmmm….don’t know how I managed to customize the registration page. I’m such a noob that I can’t even figure out where it is in my dashboard or database.
I think I may have used the add a form button to what I thought was my registration page but I never figured out if it worked (couldn’t find it).
Once I found and turned on the setting to allow anyone to register, that’s when I found the registration link on the page.
I just assumed the registration form that came up when I clicked the link was auto generated when I enabled registrations. Is it possible that BuddyPress or WordPress created this form automatically?
8 November 2013 at 21:59 #1305J AParticipantAh, yes. It just occurred to me that the form was probably customized as a result of my theme. It has the same look and feel as the rest of my site.
So, is there a way to strip out the CSS from just the form so that Math Captcha will work on it?
Or is there another way to make it work, such as replacing the registration page with a form developed using a plugin just for forms that will work with Math Captcha?
I’m very open to creative solutions here. Tired a fake registrations. Thanks!
12 November 2013 at 10:28 #1318BartoszKeymasterWe’re working on a way to use MC on custom forms. Just need some time.

I am not able to get it working on the registration page.

What should i do to make it work?
I am using bbpress plugin, have you got any success
thanks
22 September 2014 at 21:59 #5079BartoszKeymasterYeah, but this is a custom registration form. It will not support Math Captcha unless the (theme / plugin) developer makes it work with it.
29 January 2019 at 17:34 #31112chriscataldoParticipantHi All,
I am not using a customized form on my page. I have installed the plugin but it doesn’t tell me what page is the “registration page”. The page I am having a problem is and where I want the captcha to be placed is:
http://www.heatfmradio.com/registration (password is “thiswillworksoon”) I have a password on this right now so people cant access it until it works.
It doesn’t show anything. I would also like to put it on my contact us page.
Thanks so much for your help
Chris
