Can not get it to work for video - Support Forum - Digital Factory (dFactory)

I’ve been trying to get this plug in to work, and tried many different settings, but it will not open up YouTube videos in a lightbox window, the link just goes to the YouTube page.

Not sure where the issue is, and anyone help.

Our website is: http://www.cityvillage.com.au

On the home page there is a button named: VIEW VIDEO

This should open the video in a lightbox, but is won’t work.

Hi Greg,

You have some JS script errors on your site here:

Error: TypeError: $(…).offset(…) is undefined
Source: http://www.cityvillage.com.au/assets/js/main.js
Line: 77

That’s the reason it’s not working – some other JS script on your site might not be woriking too in that case.

Bartosz, thanks for your email. Any chance you can tell me what to change in the JS to fix this issue? I’m not a JS expert.

I think you should contact the theme author – it’s just his/her bad coding practices making the problems on your site. And believe me, those issues will arrise in every future update of WordPress, and it’s plugins.
