I have not purchased Fancybox Pro, yet, as I wanted to find out if it is possible to open a modal window for an mp4 video, served from the same web server as the WordPress site? A number of modal video players can only play external files hosted by youtube or vimeo, while I need to play mp4 files from the same hosted WordPress webserver that my site is on.
My videos were too large to upload to my site through the Media Library, so I added them via FTP, and am linking to them using an absolute path, such as “https://framella.com/colormatch/manufacturing-pres-2017-opex.mp4”
Unfortunately, my website under development is behind a firewall.
