Head over to Lightbox > Remote Library from the WordPress admin panel to access the Remote Library Settings screen.
Remote Library
Ticking the checkbox next to the Remote Library option lets you enable remote access to image libraries from your WordPress website. By default, this option is enabled.
Caching
The Caching option lets you enable remote library requests caching. If you choose to enable this option, the remote library will cache some images which means they’ll load faster the next time you access it. By default, this option is disabled.
Cache expiry
The Cache expiry option lets you enter the cache expiry time in hours. In other words, it will clear remote library items from the cache after the specified number of hours. By default, this option is set to 1 hour.
Media Providers
The Remote Library feature lets you import images directly from three remote libraries, including:
- Enabling this option will let you import images from Flickr. For Flickr, you will need to enter your Flickr API key.
- Enabling this option will let you import images from Unsplash. For Unsplash, you will need to enter your Unsplash API key.
- Enabling this option will let you import images from Wikimedia.
