PhotoSwipe Lightbox

This lightbox is a premium lightbox extension. This extension requires installation and activation of the Responsive Lightbox plugin.

Installation and Activation

To install PhotoSwipe Lightbox purchase the plugin select the “Add-on” tab and then the plugin.

General Settings Screen

Once the PhotoSwipe Lightbox is installed it will be listed as an option in the General Settings Screen. To apply the lightbox, click it and then scroll-down on the page and select save.

Loop: This option enables the swipe gesture. If it is selected the images will rotate from last to first. By default, the option is enabled.

Esc Key: This option users the option to use esc key to close PhotoSwipe. If it is not enabled users will need to click off to the side of the image to exit out. By default, the option is enabled.

Arrow Keys: This option users the option to use the keyboard arrow keys for navigation. If it is not enabled then users will need to click on the arrow keys to navigate the images. By default, the option is enabled. Note, for desktop users the arrow keys will fade from the screen after about 5 seconds. Users will have to mouseover the arrow key location to make them visible again.

Background Opacity: This option specifies how much opacity the background should have. The default setting is 70. 100 makes the background black while 0 makes the background visible. The more opacity the more darker the background becomes. Likewise, the less opacity you have the lighter the background becomes.

Spacing: This option specific how much spacing should exist between slides. The default setting is 12%.

Max Spread Zoom: This option specifies how much zoom users should have when using the spread gesture to view images. The default setting is 2.

Close on Scroll: This option enables close to scroll to close out the gallery.By default, the option is not enabled.

Pinch to Close: This option enables the pinch to close gesture to close out the gallery. By default, the option is enabled.

Pan to Next: This option enables pan to next which works only on zoomed images. When images are zoomed users can swipe to navigate to the next image. By default, the option is enabled.

History: This option controls the history module. When it is enabled XYZ THING happens. When it is disabled XYZ THING happens. By default, the option is not enabled.

Focus: This option will focus PhotoSwipe images after they are opened. By default, the option is enabled.

Modal: This option controls the viewport. If enabled PhotoSwipe will take-up the entire viewport. If it is not enabled PhotoSwipe will not take-up the entire viewport. By default, the option is enabled.
